WELCOME TO GRANGETOWN ART TRAIL
PERISCOPES TO THE PAST
We are busy creating an historic art trail around the Grange Pavilion wild flower gardens. With the generous support of the Heritage Lottery we are building five periscopes which show scenes from Grangetown's past. With the help of residents we will be launching the periscopes with an exhibition of local history inspired art.
GRANGETOWN ZOO 2021
On 5-6 June Grangetown will be transformed into an artistic zoo. After the success of last years zoo we encourage residents to decorate their windows and gated alleys turing them into larger-than-life zoo enclosures. We will be working with charities, local organisations and residents to supply free art workshops and events around Grangetown on that weekend.
GRANGETOWN IN LOCKDOWN
Grangetown in Lockdown art exhibition took place in the Grange Pavilion in October 2020. Fantastic local artists displayed the work that they had produced during lockdown. Check out our Instagram for pictures of the art!
GRANGETOWN ZOO 2020
During lockdown in May 2020 we had to reschedule and adapt the events and workshops we had planned for the Grangetown Zoo and Art Trail. Instead the Zoo went into people's windows for residents to enjoy during their daily exercise. We had a fantastic response and some really wonderful windows displays. Check out our Instagram for pictures of the art!
